PM Abdullah announce minor cabinet reshuffle today by giving away Finance Ministry to his Deputy Najib Abdul Razak . While Abdullah took over Defense Minister.  Datuk Seri Nazri Abd Aziz is expected to be named as Defacto Law Minister a portfolio he held prior to 12th General Election.

Abdullah’s move to swap position with Najib seen as part of power transition and more authority given to his Deputy .  Najib tooks finance ministry when world Global Capitalist Economy Collapsing with American International Group(AIG) , Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch leading the way though Malaysia yet to hear any similar news among it’s corporate sector.

Abdullah’s handover of Finance Ministry shows his incompetence in handling Malaysian Economy that ever dynamic with great External Environment threats. The position swap also putting Najib in head on collation with Former Finance Minister Dato Seri’ Anwar Ibrahim.  Najib has very limited time to prove his capability.

Why do Abdullah took over Defense Ministry ? Is there any link in Altantuya’s Murder case ? Or , Abdullah planning smooth transition with Anwar Ibrahim remains questionable for time being.
