S Manikavasagam is the elected MP of Kapar(P.109).He stood under the PKR ticket.He is also in the Environmental Committee(opposition).

Kapar, 15/6/2008 . Y.B. S. Manivakasagam today handed over goodies and Cash worth about RM12,000.00 to Red Cresent Society of Malaysia, Klang Chapter (PBSMM) for onwards transfer to Myanmar and China.
PBSMM Klang Chapter Secretary Mr Soma receives the goodies assisted by members of Red Crescent and PKR Kapar to load it to truck.
Y.B. S. Manikavasagam thanks all donors and supports to make this event a meaning ful. He further called upon all to continue such efforts to assist poors families locally.
