PROOF: Manikavasagam holds up his hand, showing how dusty it gets when the smoke settles in Aman Perdana
I would like to Invite all Federal Cabinet Ministers, State Exco Members and Director Generals of Federal and State level to join me to jog around Aman Perdana residential area. Member of Parliaments and State Legislative Members (ADUN) from both side too invited to join.
We cann’t blame the developer alone ? Knowing the situation well Education Minsitry allowed a New Chinese school to be built and operator in nearby area. I also understand another National School was in pipeline much nearer to factory compound. Who’s mistake was that?
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery hd
When factories was build years ago the area was surrounded by Palm Oil plantations. Now, the area had developed including Klang Sentral Bus station . The smoke emitted by these factories not only damaging Aman Perdana residents but also those living nearby in Meru , Kapar Indah and Setia Alam.
So, let’s join me to determine whether Factories operating illegally by Foreigners has all the right to damage our environment but Malaysian has to tolerate. Even those, with proper documents do they poses the right to damage our Environment.
Those Federal Ministers , Exco Members, MPs and ADUNs and DGs interested to Jog with me kindly contact my office for prior arrangement. It can be early morning or late evening. Let’s see which Minister come forward first?
The following from Malay Mail :

KAPAR MP S. Manikavasagam is furious with the Selangor Department of Enviroment after the latter claimed that the pollution level at Aman Perdana is at an accepted level.
State Department of Environment director Che Asmah Ibrahim, in a written response to residents, said:
“The State Department of Environment has issued compounds to factories that have not followed regulations.
Also, one factory that releases white smoke has fixed three Water Scrubbers to reduce the amount of smoke released.
We however, would like to stress that the housing developer did not provide a buffer zone, at least 500 metres away from the factories near Aman Perdana.
Without a buffer zone, we cannot overcome this problem and there will always be complaints.
” The first-term MP was anything but satisfied with this response.
“If the director feels that the factories are following regulations now, then I challenge her to stay here for a month.
I will give her the keys to the house that I was supposed to move into and if she does not feel it’s hazardous to go for evening walks or leave the windows open, then I will not bring this matter up again.
“We understand that the factory is near the housing area and we cannot do anything about that.
But we want the factory to stop polluting the environment. I urge the State Executive Councillor for Consumer Affairs, Environment and Tourism Elizabeth Wong to visit the neighbourhood herself.
She is an environmentalist and she would have a different perspective of this issue.”
