People’s Power Won again despite dirty political ploys by BN leaders. The latest clear signal seen at Permatang Pauh by-election with Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim swept 66% of total Votes cast on Tuesday 26 August 2008.

Mpkapar Team was at Permatang Pauh since 14^th August 2008 supporting Y.B. S. Manikavasagam winning Indian voters while recharging their confidents and believes towards Pakatan Rakyat. Our team was supported well by Y.B. N Gobalakrishnan Padang Serai Member of Parliament and his team members, Y.B Raveen Batu Uban State Assembly Member and Seberang Jaya local PKR members including Malays and Chinese.

Entire government machinery was working for Barisan Nasional including Royal Malaysian Police Force (PDRM) by escorting PM , DPM, Menteri Besar’s , Chief Minister(s), Ministers and their Parliamentarians. While Pakatan Rakyat Elected Representatives including PKR Candidate walking freely canvassing votes from house to house , “Pasar Pagi and Malam” and “ceramahs”. Despite the presence of almost 4,000 FRU’s and additional police from Nationwide BN leaders felt unsecured being at Permatang Pauh. They’re there to show face only to continue secure their positions.

Being controlled by UMNO Media Prima’s TV3 was the main culprit whom keeping twisting real truth. TV3’s attitude playing Saiful Buhari’s swearing drama over and over again must be condemned. While mainstream newspapers only highlight BN leaders events. They failed to release people had loss confidents over news carried by them. Their journey to graveyard begins since 2007 IJOK by Election.

While on the ground BN components parties pawn themselves by letting UMNO to spark racial and religious issues. UMNO hasn’t learn their lesson by wielding Keris at their General Assembly and it’s after effect during March 8 2008 General Election. They showed their true colours at Permatang Pauh as Malay hero speaking on Ketuanan Melayu while blaming Anwar Ibrahim as Foreign Agent , Chinese and Indian Agent. They forced an Imam to witness Saiful Buhari swearing on Quran knowing well it’s not according to religious practice. BN hasn’t change and will not change from racial politics as long as they were thrown out of power.

UMNO threaten one of our Team member Kg Bagan Serai JKK Chairman Mr Ponnusamy since he refrain to join Barisan Nasional for a ransoms of RM 300,00.00. He later made police report .

While driving back after our Ceramah Monday morning around 2am ,we spotted UMNO members bringing down our own banner by wearing PKR t-Shirt and flags on their pickups. They later hand over all banners to us after seeing YB S. Manikavasagam getting down from his car. Since, they doing what been assigned we don’t bother to report it.

Never underestimate PEOPLE’s Power, during the by-election Permatang Pauh had shown it by :

a) Chase out Abdullah Badawi from attending Hindu Prayers in a Chinese temple

b) Abdullah also cancelled Dinner cum Ceramah event due to poor attendance

c) Villagers never allow Najib to enter their Territory

d) SamyVellu and Nalla face obstacles in convenience voters

e) Thousand of voters attended Anwar’s Ceramah

f) Thousand of supporters turned to Permatang Pauh during nomination

g) Abdullah took flight back to KL much earlier then scheduled on Aug 26.

h) Finally, they prove it by Voting to Anwar.

Rakyat had shown second signal for change, either BN change entirely or dig their own graveyard.
