S Manikavasagam is the elected MP of Kapar(P.109).He stood under the PKR ticket.He is also in the Environmental Committee(opposition).

Up to 10,000 light blue shirts were seen around Jalan Mengkuang where the nomination will be held for the Permatang Pauh by-election. Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at about 8.15am, with Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim arriving about the same time.
There are a handful of dark-blue’s in the area.
