Thaipusam marks celebration of Victory over evil where Lord Muruga vanquish the demon army of Tarakasura and combat their evil deeds.  Hindus will offer Kavadi and other offering after observing strict fasting rules to have the blessing of Lord Murugan for granting their wills.

However, nowadays Thaipusam surrounding especially in Batu Caves where millions of Hindus throng to seek blessing of Lord Murugan become political battle ground.  Recent incidents in Malaysian clearly indicate some parties are all out to provocate religion intolerance among Malaysian.

Trying to Patch Damage Done

I have all the reason to believe that police themselves part of this provacation team when they torn down Tourism Selangor Stage down last evening. Their reason , the area allocated for police vehicle parking itself proof that they are taking side.  Why, awaited until last minute when the preparation was done with collaboration of all relevant agencies.

When past Malaysian Prime Ministers has no time even an hour a year to spend with million of devotees , but all of sudden current Prime Minister finds that this devotee worth to have his face viewed. He believe by throwing some junks or peanuts Malaysian Indian vote will swings towards his component parties.   Even, the voice of MANDORES whom claim other Mandore wasn’t heard yet.

I’m calling upon the Police and Federal Government to stop politising THAIPUSAM festival.
