S Manikavasagam is the elected MP of Kapar(P.109).He stood under the PKR ticket.He is also in the Environmental Committee(opposition).

Y B S Manikavasagam lead a team of Parti Keadilan Rakyat members comprise all races from Kedah up to Sarawak in a house to house campaign at Kampung Bagan Serai, Seberang Jaya.
Later YB N Gobalakrishnan join in to support earlier team.
Y B S Manikvasagam whom given task to win Indian votes by Permatang Pauh Election Machinery found that most of voters very clear with their choice and BN’s false commitment for last 51 years ruling Malaysia. Obviously all says their choice is Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
A Mother informed that when she asked what he can do to upgrade their living standrad MIC President told he wasn’t aware of such squatter area ever exist. She further inform that a MIC branch was there for long time. It’s clear BN just wanted their vote ,she further add.
Another mother , added that Dato Seri Anwar assist his choice to complete his education. “I know Anwar Ibrahim family like to help Indians without any discrimination” she further added.
