Seberang Jaya – Organizers today stunned with presence of Voters especially Indians to listen speech by Y.B. S Manikavasagam and Y.B. N.Gobalakrishnan at Penanti, Permatang Pauh. Earlier they were considering calling off the talk just since Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim scheduled to deliver his speech at same vicinity. Penanti had only 250 Indian registered voter in Permatang Pauh Parliamentary constituency.

Speaking to the crowd S. Manikavasagam today called BN leaders to stop throwing bones and peanuts to Indians in Malaysia just to win their votes during by-elections. What we are asking just a decent live hood and rights promised by Federal Constitution. Indians together with Chinese too had contributed to the countries economy and well being.

He further call upon the BN federal government to study thoroughly root cause of Nov 25,2007 Hindraf protest. It’s BN government whom ignored our various pleads and memorandums submitted to the Government. They failed to realize that One tiny insect may be enough to destroy a country.

Speaking earlier Y.B. N.Gobalakrishnan says we don’t dispute any Bumiputra rights as per Federal Constitutions. It’s only few UMNO guys sitting in cozy office trying to show off as they are Malay Warriors. In actual reality, Malaysian living peacefully by tolerating each others.

S. Manikavasagam further added the really “perpaduan” was shown by Pakatan Rakyat supporters during Permatang Pauh by election nomination day. Pakatan Rakyat supporters from all walk of life and race greet each other, helping each other, holding banners and poster for Anwar Ibrahim and enjoying Chinese Lion Dance and Indian Urrimi performance. This is the begin of true racial harmony. If the grassroots this can be achieved just imagine what Pakatan Rakyat leaders can performance.

Even at today’s talk Chinese and Malays join in to listen and help distributing Mineral waters to those presences as rare phenomena at UMNO’s campaign in Permatang Pauh. Throw away racism .. think as a Malaysia .
