The ‘Crooked Bridge’ Return‏ With Cronies

.!.

Letter from Concern Malaysia

Dear YB,

By now I’m sure all of us are aware that TDM under Datuk Seri Najib already started again his dirty works. As an experience politican more or less he knows that the lifetime of the BN Government and himself are numbered.

So I think he will make use of the remaining time and the opportunity in favour of him, his family and his cronies.

As well all know, The Crooked Bridge was his unfinish project. Since now he’s holding the “Remote Control” of the government, I’m very very sure he will get it done either by hook or crook. For that, as usual they will use the ordinary rakyat as their excuse to create the situation that the rakyat badly need The Crooked Bridge. For the past few days, we can see how their machinery such as UMNO Johor, their cronies already came up with comments in newspaper that this bridge will boost the business in JB and so on.

YB, for almost 20 years I’m using Causeway to go to Singapore and I know very very well, what is the problem here at the CIQ and at the Causeway that causing the Traffic Jam. The Crooked Bridge will not going to solve the problem because the problem is at other place and not on the Causeway. The problem is at the CIQ.

As usual the stupid politician around here using all the stupid excuses to confuse the people and to get what they want. They will say, sea water pollution, ship want to pass by, can clear the jam and so on as their excuse.

YB, there was a bridge built on the sea between Sweden and Denmark. The name of the bridge is Oresund Bridge. The highest point of the bridge is 60 meter. The reason for the 60 meter is for the ship to pass by. According the old plan for The Crooked “S” Bridge, they’re going to built the Crooked Bridge at the height of 25 meter in a shallow water. Don’t forget the bridge will be built on our half of the Causeway and NOT fully cross the Causeway.

The picture that I’m attaching will give you a clearer picture on how DIFFICULT and RISKY for any ship to pass by under The Crooked Bridge. And don’t forget to see the location of the Swing Railway Track. YB, just imagine, a small mistake can cause a disaster in this conjested area. You also can see, what is the size of the ship that can pass by at this area particularly under The Crooked Bridge and passing through the Swing Railway Track.

YB, suppose if they’re starting this project slowly they will be able to create some other new projects for their cronies such as:-

a) Rebuilding of the Railway Lane. The idea is to have a Swing Railway Brigde.

b) The 3 giant water pipelines to Singapore need to be relocated.

c) May be, later they will create another excuse that the sea level along the Malaysia- Singapore Border is shallow so the ship couldn’t pass through. So they need todeepen the sea for the distance of >< 50 km from West to East.

I’m not sure the reasons  Tun Abdullah cancelled this project, however  we cann’t overcome the traffic jam problem at Causeway . The new Crooked Bridge has  NO GUARANTEE that it can solve the traffic problem.

YB, I’m  hoping  PR Government can quickly think of something before they start their “evil” move to drain out the country’s wealth.

Before I end this e-mail again I would like to say that this Crooked Bridge is not the answer for the Traffic Jam unless if they’re going to built The Crooked Bridge like the Super Highways in USA with 12 lanes or more. The idea to build The Crooked Bridge is purely to make money for them and their cronies. According to one of my friend, some cronies plan to reactivate  the bridge is  for them to operate  tourist type of ship along the sea between Singapore and Malaysia. I’m not sure how true is this rumour but this is what I heard from my friend.

That’s all for now and hopefully we can do something to stop them before it’s too late.
