Racist UMNO Bukit Bendera UMNO Division chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail has once again provoked the Chinese community and had strongly criticised former Penang Chief Minister and GERAKAN Acting President Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon yesterday.
While talking at a press conference from Penang UMNO headquarters yesterday, Datuk Ahmad re-stated his stand that the Chinese community in Malaysia were ‘mere squatters’ and should not demand for equal status and should not question the rights of the Malays at any time.
It was further reveal that the crowd turn unruly and it was seen that they took down and tore the picture of Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon in an act of disrespect and humiliation to Tan Sri Koh personally( a insult) and further demanded that GERAKAN should leave the Barisan Nasional coalition.
This event is now strongly criticised by the GERAKAN and MCA leadership. The Penang MCA and GERAKAN have sever ties with UMNO Penang.
In the mean while, GERAKAN had demanded UMNO and BN leadership to detain Datuk Ahmad under the Internal Security Act (ISA) immediately to avoid whatever untoward incidents that could happen in this country.
Will PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi demand Datuk Ahmad detained under the ISA?
The Barisan Nasional Supreme Council would meet this afternoon and it is expected that this issue would be heatedly discussed.
